Wedding Photography

Your wedding day is one of the most important and memorable days of your life, the problem is that during all the hustle and bustle you may forget to take everything in.  This is why I'm here, to give you a beautiful and comprehensive account of your special day!  I shoot with a fun and upbeat style that combines traditional portraiture and illustrative journalism. This way I capture not only the major moments of your wedding, but also the artistic details that you may not even notice. I aim to tell the story of your wedding, not just document it.

I want your special day to be as unique as you are, which is why we will formulate an approach that fits the vision you have of your wedding day.  I encourage your ideas and suggestions, no matter how outrageous or over the top they may seem!  We can blend classic formals, candid photos, artistic details, architectural images and even some atypical shots to create the memorable images you want of your special day!

I use state-of-the-art Nikon™ digital equipment which gives me the flexibility to not only shoot numerous pictures, but to also ensure the brilliance of each shot.  For each wedding at least 200 images are taken, with some weddings ending up with over 1500!  You will receive all these images on a DVD with a copyright release.  This gives you the flexibility to print the pictures any where you wish - or order from me!  I will extensively touch up the best images, as well as convert some to Black and White or Sepia, while leaving the original as well.  For each wedding collection at least one photo collage and one artistic piece will be created.  I will also create a personal online gallery of all the wedding images.  This way out of town friends and family can easily order prints.

If you choose an image that is already black and white, sepia or artistic, you still must indicate that you would like to order the print in Black and white, etc. If you fail to specify a color option, your print will be sent to you in full color. Wedding Collection Options

Basic Collection: $600

This collection offers four hours of "your choice" coverage.  This means that I will cover whatever aspects of your wedding are most important to you, whether it be the preparatory events and the ceremony, or the ceremony and the first couple hours of the reception…it’s completely up to you!  For more intimate weddings, this collection may be all you need to have a comprehensive account of the entire event!

Deluxe Collection: $1500

This collection is perfect for almost any wedding with eight hours of all-inclusive coverage.  I will cover all the important events leading up to the actual ceremony, highlights of the reception and everything in between! 

Ultimate Collection: $3000 

This complete wedding day coverage begins with the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner, continuing with the Bride at the salon, and follows the wedding party through the entire reception!  With this collection there are no time constraints or location restrictions to worry about!  A complimentary on location engagement session is also included, with five full resolution images on a CD so you have a good selection to choose from for your newspaper announcement.  A custom created photo guest book and DVD slideshow of your wedding images are also included.

Proof album: $150 and up

All your images displayed in a 10x13 spiral bound book.  All images will have the file name displayed as a caption to make ordering simple and easy!

 8.5 x 11 Coffee Table Book: $350

Everyone wants a way to display their wedding photos, but traditional albums can be a little boring.  A custom Coffee Table Book is a fantastic and modern alternative!  I will take the best images from your special day and craft them into a beautiful hardbound book.  Each Coffee Table Book is personally designed by me with a one of a kind, scrapbook style.  You can choose either a traditional black or royal blue cover, with up to three lines of embossed text in silver or gold.  Each book will have 20-50 pages depending on number of wedding portraits captured.  Digital “proofing” is an option.

5 x 5 “Parents” Coffee table book: $250

This is a smaller, yet still beautiful, version of the traditional Coffee Table Book.  Each book will have 20-50 pages depending on number of wedding portraits captured.  Digital “proofing” is an option.

Guest Book: $250

Each wedding needs a guest book, but this one is anything but typical!  This hardbound book uses your engagement portraits as its pages!  The page on the left will be one of your engagement portraits while the right side page can either be a low opacity image, a blank page or a traditional lined page perfect for writing.  Each Guest Book is designed personally by me with the Bride and Groom’s assistance!  You can choose either the traditional book page or a linen textured page for a more formal appearance.  There is no extra charge for linen pages!

DVD Slideshow to play at the Rehearsal or Reception - Up to 4 songs and 200 pictures: $250

Your friends and family will “ooooh” and “aaahhh” watching photos of you two growing up, dating and during your engagement on a DVD slideshow created especially for you! I can use pictures you provide on a CD, or I can scan and use printed images you provide.  I will splice together songs you’ve chosen and use them as a background for your slideshow!  You can choose fun and upbeat songs, sentimental songs or even “your” song!  This DVD will play in any standard DVD player. 

Slideshow of the Wedding Photos - Up to 4 songs and 200 pictures: $150

I'll create a DVD slideshow using the very best pictures from the wedding and reception.  I will set it to music featured at the Reception, like the song used for your first dance! This is a great way to reminisce about your special day with relatives at Thanksgiving with out having to all huddle around one album!

Photo Collage: $20 and up plus printing

Photo Restoration:  $30 plus printing

It’s a nice gesture for couples to have their parents’ or grandparents’ wedding photos displayed at their wedding.  The trouble is, these photos were taken so long ago that they are usually grainy and discolored.  I can scan in the photo and restore it in a way that it may look better than it did the day it was taken.
