I aim to photograph all aspects of the wedding. I certainly will take images of the bride and groom with their heads tilted, her bouquet at her belly button, both of them standing in front of the church….but I also like to photograph the napkins, flower arrangements, programs, et al. I was a bride not too long ago and I know how much time and effort goes into choosing fonts for programs, freesias over hydrangeas and picking plum rather than eggplant cocktail napkins. It isn’t just the bride and groom that make a wedding…it’s all the people, places and details!

I try to shoot what I would want hanging over my fireplace and what my mom would want hanging over hers. In other words: the cool and the classic, the traditional and the quirky.

Through my photographs I get to experience the world the way I feel it, with indescribable love and huge passion and incredible beauty.
