About Me

 Hi everyone, my name is Katie McDonald and I am the owner, operator and photographer for Katie McDonald Photography.  I live in Johnston with my husband Brandon and our one year old Boston Terrier, Layla.   I am a 2006 graduate of the University of Kentucky (wooo GO CATS!) where I majored in Photojournalism and minored in Fine Art Photography. Photography is my passion and I feel so fortunate to make what I love into my career.  To me, images are more than just pictures, they are art that conveys emotion!   Every portrait should be as unique as you!
